Kevin deBruyckere
Director, AML & Investigations, British Columbia Lottery Corporation
Kevin deBruyckere is the Director of AML & Investigations for the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC), a Crown Corporation responsible for the conduct and management of gambling in BC. Kevin is responsible for ensuring BCLC’s compliance with the PCMLTFA. He has extensive experience in law enforcement with the RCMP, including responsibility for the federal enforcement program in BC. This was followed by four years with a large international bank before joining BCLC. In June 2022, Kevin proudly graduated with an MBA from Royal Roads University.

Gregory Dellas
Chief Compliance and Innovation Officer, ECOMMBX
Gregory Dellas is the Chief Compliance and Innovation Officer at ECOMMBX. Previously, at the Bank of Cyprus, Gregory served as Director Wealth & Markets and spearheaded the AML Risk Management team within International Banking Services, responsible for high-risk clients and transactions and for providing guidance and specialized training to management and staff. Before that he was Group MLRO for a large Cyprus bank, and held a number of other senior management positions.
Gregory is the founder and Chair of the ACAMS Cyprus Chapter, since 2015. He is also an Associate Fellow of RUSI. He holds several international professional certifications including CGSS, CAMS (Advanced) - Risk Management and CAMS (Advanced) – Audit. He is a certified CAMS instructor and GCI accredited trainer, a Fellow of ICA (FICA) and a long-standing member of the AMLP Forum and ARGC. He also holds an MBA from Lancaster University in the UK and a BSC (Hons) Industrial economics from the University of Warwick.

Gene DiMira
VP, Product Commercialization and Compliance, Socure
As one of the leading voices in the anti-money laundering (AML) industry and digital identification space, Gene’s career started with a focus on the systems, operations and compliance controls for financial planning firms offering securities, banking and insurance products, then expanded across sectors to credit and lending, gaming and real estate sectors.
He has contributed to the body of knowledge for financial crime risk management, by authoring an international ACAMS Whitepaper and Magazine article on Digital Identification methods testing and AML programs. Gene provided supporting contributions for Canadian government consultations, and globally to the FATF Risk Based Approach Guidance for the Insurance Sector in 2018 and supported multiple submissions for the FATF Guidance on Digital Identification consultation. He was also the lead on the DIACC Directory of Products that assess identification and verify identity. His education, experience, passion for fighting crime and far-reaching international networks, make Gene a global expert in the AML and digital identity space.

Matt McGuire
Principal, Practice Leader, The AML Shop
Matt is an internationally recognized expert in anti-money laundering, counter-terrorist financing and sanctions compliance, and leads the advisory practice team at The AML Shop. He has been assisting governments and financial services companies to assess and reduce financial crime and related regulatory risks for fifteen years.
Matt is a Chartered Professional Accountant and has been inducted as a Fellow of CPA Ontario, is certified as an Anti-Money Laundering Specialist and Certified Cryptocurrency Investigator, and accredited as an Anti-Money Laundering Professional, and Certified in Financial Forensics.
Matt has been qualified as an expert witness in forensic accounting and money laundering, has testified before Senate committees, Parliamentary Committees and the Cullen Commission of Inquiry into money laundering.
